“Best view in Swaledale”
Grevir Pocklington, UK

First time I've been able to review this cottage even though we have had lots of holidays here over the years. We love coming to stay in this cottage, and in fact have just got back,it's a home from home cottage with all the amenities you could need. There is a small patio to sit out on weather permitting and use of a very large garden that leads down to the river Swale. The walking in this area is second to none, there are flat river walks and amazing hill walks,a good mixture of watering holes within walking distance. We have already booked for next July for that bike race you may have heard of.

“Warm Welcoming Wonderful”
Graham T Aldeburgh, UK Nov2013

A short break of 3 nights in November is bound to be risky weatherwise but we had an excellent time in a lovely warm and comfortable cottage with spectacular views. The cottage had every amenity and provision required and it's location made it feel quiet and away from it all and yet was only 200 metres from the green and the hotels and eateries.
Both bedrooms were extremely comfortable and we all slept like logs after a couple of full days out and about. The onsite owner was very friendly and helpful and not in the slight bit pushy.

Guaranteed a very relaxing and enjoyable stay
Mike Quinn

My wife and I book a cottage at Wraycroft every year and it is the best cottage we have ever had the pleasure to have stayed at. Everything is provided for you from teaspoons to spare blankets - it is extremely well equipped. The rooms are airy with plenty of space and feels like home from home and, after a long walk it is a pleasure to come back to.

The gardens are superb with a few seats strategically placed giving great views of the hills opposite as well as the lovely and well-maintained gardens themselves. The pond, the flowers and the spacious lawns make for a very relaxing experience. A walk further down will bring you to the River Swale and is a nice place to park yourself and cogitate for a while!

We rarely, if at all, use our car as there are numerous walks from the doorstep all with stunning views of the surrounding dales. Reeth itself provides everything you need from papers, groceries, pubs and places to eat and have a drink. It's a smashing place, which adds to the enjoyment of our stay here.

If all that wasn't enough, the owners of the property are on site and are the most friendly and approachable people you could wish to meet.

We cannot recommend staying here highly enough as we know we are guaranteed a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Can't wait for next month!
