Wraycroft Cottages have been providing quality accommodation since 1965 in Reeth, Swaledale in the heart of Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Visitors say how warm the cottages are and although not needed, fires can be lit for arrival if requested. Colour, free-sat television, DVD player, radio and books are provided.
Super tariff electricity heats storage heaters and water cylinders overnight with a two hour afternoon boost. Bed linen is provided and towels may be hired (£3 per person). Please request before arrival.

As only Orange and T-Mobile phones have reception, Orange phones are available for visitors to borrow. Calls need to be paid for. Some areas have no coverage but Reeth is fine.
Wi-Fi access is available.
The cottage is set in two acres of spectacular gardens. There are two terraces, facing South and slopes down to the River Swale. There are two large connected ponds, two large areas of trees, lots of shrubs, flowers and large grassy areas.
The first terrace is level with the cottages and has sheltered seats overlooking the ponds. Lots of seats are provided each taking advantage of the views both of the gardens and the hills beyond. The river bank has stone steps leading down to the water level where again there is seating.

The lounge has comfortable seating, superb views and an open fire which heat radiators and hot water.
A dining area can be separated from the lounge with sliding doors.
Kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge and freezer.
One double bedroom, one twin bedroom and bathroom with electric shower over the bath.
The site is 2 acres and much of this is garden accessible to guests. There are various terraces one of which is level with the cottage with a seat overlooking the ponds , the river and the moors. Other numerous seats are around the grounds and some visitors have a picnic at a different on each day. Hours can be spent watching wildlife, catching the sun or swimming, paddling or messing about in the river .
In addition to the shared garden, the cottage has it's own private patio with seats.
